However, the trade-off is that there are many facets to master.

QuickBooks Desktop Pro is one of the accounting software products from Intuit. It is one of the more expensive packages, but it comes armed with an impressive array of features. As noted, it comes with all the tools you may expect from an accounting tool. However, there are new additions that you don't often find in other similar apps. The biggest of which is the Bank Account Reconciliation. With this, users can link to their bank account, make automated payments and deposits, and also manage employee payrolls.

You can link, sync, and import data from integrated apps, such as Paypal, Square, and American Express, and categorize all transactions to monthly expenses and earnings. It also gives you automatic payment reminders, and ability to add a PO number to emails. Moreover, it lets you combine multiple invoices into one email.

Installing the program to your computer means there is no need for internet connectivity to do the basic tasks. There are cloud-based services available, and you can switch to that from your offline tasks seamlessly. However, usability-wise, the app is perhaps not the first port you will call if you are not confident in using accounting software. There are lots of features to master, some of which are daunting for the less confident user.
